LITLE BIT OF HISTORY - From 2003 to 2015 on World Poetry Day, March 21, Antonieta Villamil founds and directs the independent publishing house CazaPoesía and edits, among others, the collections "PoetsAgainstWar," as an act of protest against war, violence, occupation, displacement, disappearance and/or any form of aggression by a State of power towards one people and/or from one human being to another. The press publishes authors from multicultural communities who write in Spanish and bilingual formats in the United States and the world with the conviction that publishing these authors advances the study of historical memory written in poetry and is vital to maintaining a creative dialogue (within the framework of peace and sustainable development) between communities of diverse cultures.
